These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Ilkley Co-worker Club. By booking, accessing, or using the space, you agree to be bound by them.

2. The Space The coworking space is located at: 11 The Grove, Ilkley, LS29 9LW
No access is permitted to any floors or areas above the co-working floor including the staircase.
3. Nature of the Agreement Your membership grants you a licence to occupy, not a lease or tenancy.
This means: You do not have exclusive possession of the premises (unless you hold a dedicated desk). No landlord-tenant relationship is created. We can relocate desks or reconfigure the space if needed.
4. Membership Types
4.1 Day Pass One-off purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. Refunds available if cancelled at least 48 hours before the booking date
4.2 Monthly Dedicated Desk Recurring billing Auto-renews monthly Dedicated desk allocation Refunds available if cancelled at least 5 days before the start date
4.3 Quarterly Dedicated Desk Recurring billing Auto-renews quarterly Dedicated desk allocation Refunds available if cancelled at least 10 days before the start date
4.4 Virtual Office Includes: Use of our address, collection of mail, mail forwarding at cost. Cancel any time. No restrictions on Companies House usage
5. Access & Security Access is provided via a PIN or mobile app. Access hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–6:00pm. No weekend or 24/7 access. You are responsible for keeping your access credentials secure. Lost or compromised credentials will be replaced free of charge.

6. Booking & Payments Bookings are managed via Cobot. Payments are processed via Stripe. VAT is charged at 20%. All prices are quoted ex-VAT.
Billing occurs monthly or quarterly depending on your plan. Failed payments or chargebacks incur a £5 fee, charged by Stripe. Access is suspended automatically if payment fails, enabling others to use the space. Prices may change with one month’s notice. Changes apply at the next billing cycle.
7. Meeting Room & Phone Booth The meeting room is bookable. Free for members. Subject to fair and reasonable use. The phone booth may be used for longer calls. Quiet calls may be taken at desks. The meeting room may be used for calls if not booked.
8. Conduct & House Rules We’ve designed a calm, respectful workspace. By using the space you agree to: Keep noise levels low Use the phone booth or meeting room for longer calls Leave desks clean at the end of the day Keep food areas tidy No fish in the microwave No alcohol on the premises No being drunk or under the influence of drugs No smoking or vaping inside the building No littering cigarette butts outside Respect our neighbours and their right to a peaceful existence
9. Prohibited Behaviour
You must not: Drink alcohol or take drugs on site Put anyone in danger Engage in violence or threats Use hate speech Engage in sexual harassment (verbal or physical) Stalk or intimidate other members View adult content Create an unsafe or hostile environment We reserve the right to terminate your membership immediately and without refund for serious misconduct.
10. Dogs Policy
Dogs are allowed subject to:
A successful initial visit Insurance cover Supervision at all times
If a dog bites, damages property, or disrupts other members the owner must remove the dog immediately and is fully liable for all costs and claims.
You agree to: Indemnify us against any claims caused by your dog Waive any claims against us arising from your dog Accept that dogs are present at your own risk We accept no liability for incidents involving dogs.
11. Lockers & Storage
Each member is allocated a locker. Lockers are for small personal items (e.g. a rucksack). Contents are not insured by us. Lockers are provided as a convenience only. We accept no liability for theft, loss, or damage
12. Mail & Packages
Letters may be received and placed in your locker or handed to you. Parcels are not accepted. We are not a mail forwarding service. We accept no liability for Loss, Delay, Misdelivery, Time-sensitive or legal documents
13. Wi-Fi & IT
Wi-Fi is provided on a fair-use basis. You must not: Engage in illegal activity Infringe copyright Access harmful or abusive content
We: Do not guarantee availability, speed, or security Accept no liability for data loss or breaches May monitor traffic for security May suspend access for misuse
14. Damage
You are responsible for any damage you cause to:

You agree to pay the full cost of repair or replacement.
15. Insurance & Liability
We carry public liability insurance. You must hold your own insurance for: Personal property Business activity Our liability is limited to the lower of £5,000 to a maxim of the total fees you paid in the previous 3 months
We are not liable for: Loss of business Data loss Indirect or consequential loss
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
16. Force Majeure We are not liable for closures caused by: Fire, flood, power failure, lock failure, Government order, utility outage (including wifi)
No refunds are given, but discretionary credits may be offered.
17. Termination & Suspension
We may: Terminate your membership with 10 days’ notice Terminate immediately for misconduct Suspend access for breach
You may: Cancel monthly memberships with 5 days’ notice Cancel quarterly memberships with 10 days’ notice No refunds are given after cancellation and access to the building will be revoked via PIN/app.
18. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be handled as follows: Informal discussion Mediation Courts of England & Wales
19. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the law of England & Wales.
